If your body has been through it: surgeries, injuries, a nervous system that’s just… done, and you’re trying to figure out how to move again without making things worse, this is for you.

Not the “get your body back” version of recovery. The real one. Where some days you feel almost normal and others you’re back at square one, and nobody seems to have a programme that accounts for that.

I built this because I couldn’t find it either.

About Caty

I’m Caty. I’ve been teaching movement since 2016, and I’ve had more surgeries and injuries than I care to count: joints, bones, vestibular stuff, the lot.

I know what it’s like to be in a body that suddenly feels unfamiliar. To start again, and again. And again. To want to move but not trust what’s going to happen when you do.

What I noticed, both in my own recovery and in the people I work with, is that the physical side of returning to movement is only half the picture. The mental side, the fear, the second-guessing, the nervous system that’s been through the wringer, that’s the part nobody talks about. And it’s often the part that keeps people stuck.

That’s the gap I’m trying to fill.

My approach isn’t about pushing through or bouncing back. It’s about building enough trust with your body that movement starts to feel good and fun again. Slowly. Without the spiral.

Who this is for

This is for you if:

  • You’ve had an injury, surgery, or a period of illness that’s knocked your relationship with movement sideways

  • Your body feels more sensitive than it used to, things flare, fatigue hits harder, and you’re never quite sure what’s safe

  • You’re overwhelmed by the options (do more, do less, stretch, don’t stretch, rest, don’t rest)

  • You want to move again, but you’re scared of getting it “wrong”

This is not for you if you’re looking for a fitness programme, a transformation challenge, or anything that involves the phrase “push through.”
